FY00-04 Mooring Service Type III (Heavy Weather Moorings)

The purpose of this guidance is to advised facility engineers, planners, and maintenance personnel of minimum facility planning and design criteria necessary to ensure safe mooring of naval vessels during Mooring Service Type III (Heavy Weather). Use this document to validate existing sites for heavy weather use and to design new or modified facilities and mooring for heavy weather.
