Summary
The purpose of this Public Works Technical Bulletin (PWTB) is to transmit the results of a demonstration study conducted at Fort Hood, Texas. That study achieved two objectives: (1) to determine if ground, waste, asphalt shingles
could be used to minimize dust generated on tank trails, and (2) to show that recycling waste asphalt shingles would be a cost effective method to reduce the volume of solid material going to the landfill.
