Summary
The purpose of this Public Works Technical Bulletin (PWTB) is to transmit the results of a technology demonstration conducted at Fort Bragg, NC. That study successfully demonstrated that fuel spills entering a sanitary sewer system could be automatically detected and reported to Directorate of Public Works (DPW) personnel by the use of specialized equipment placed in a manhole downstream of the spill.
