Sarah Jensen serves as FEMP's technical lead for sustainable buildings, where she works to help agencies identify and implement sustainable building strategies. Sarah also co-chairs the Interagency Sustainability Working Group (ISWG) with GSA. She most recently served as deputy director and environmental counsel for the Green the Capitol Office for the U.S. House of Representatives. She received a bachelor's degree in mass communications from James Madison University and a juris doctorate degree in energy, environment, and natural resources law from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark University.
Michelle Slovensky, Senior Sustainability Manager, National Renewable Energy Laboratory Read Bio
Michelle Slovensky is a Senior Sustainability Manager at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. With 25 years of interdisciplinary experience, she provides strategic leadership and technical expertise for sustainable building and site design, on-site renewable energy integration, establishing, measuring, and monitoring performance metrics, and developing policies for the efficient use of energy, water, and material resources. She received a bachelor's degree in fine arts from the Rhode Island School of Design, and a master's degree in landscape architecture and ecology from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
